Helen qualified from Kings College London in 2000 with a Physiotherapy BSc degree.
Helen first decided to become a physiotherapist at 13 years old after being inspired watching amputees overcome adversity and prove that they could do more than they initially thought.
Helen has worked a wide variety roles across multiple NHS hospitals including respiratory care, neurology and stroke wards, paediatrics, orthopaedics, hydrotherapy and intensive care. After 7yrs in the NHS Helen has worked over 17 years in private practice. Helen has also worked with rugby teams, military units and spent two years working in Ireland.
Helen has spoken at professional conference and published papers on fatigue in children with Hemiplegia. She is also a trained pilates instructor and acupuncturist. Helen has 3 children and has also done additional course in pre and post natal pilates.
