UCI Road World Championships 2019 – Road closures and diversions

Key traffic and travel information you’ll need to know for the UCI Road World Championships, Friday 27th September, with details of which roads will be closed and when and diversions.

Along the route (rolling road closures)

As both races will see elite riders racing on our local roads, several roads will be closed at certain times. As the races sets off from The Dome, there will be a ‘rolling road closure’ along the route. These are due to start and finish around 30 minutes before and after the riders pass through.

Womens race from 8:40am

Route fixed road closures (all day)

As the race will be starting at The Dome, certain roads in the surrounding area will be closed for a fixed period of time, they are as follows:
