Reece graduated with a First-Class Hons degree in BSc Physiotherapy at the University of Leicester in 2022. During his time at university, he gained experience through clinical placements at an NHS musculoskeletal outpatient in Loughborough, as well as ward-based placements at Glenfield and Kettering hospital. In addition to this, Reece has also spent time with Leicester City Football Clubs Academy, as well as working with Bristol Rovers F.C. during their pre-season in the summer of 2022.
Reece’s main interests are within musculoskeletal physiotherapy, specifically around sporting related injuries and the subsequent rehabilitation. Reece’s previous experiences in sport as both a player and a physiotherapist paired with his interests in strength and conditioning have allowed him to develop a progressive mindset in the development of rehabilitative programmes and therapy interventions.
In endeavour to improve his practice, Reece has undertaken and completed a level 3 qualification in sports massage, as well as recently completing the RFU’s Level 3 Pre-Hospital Immediate Care in sport. Reece now looks forward to his tenure at Chapman Physiotherapy in order to expand his experiences further and progress as a Physiotherapist.
