Hi, I’m Matt
I qualified with a first-class honour’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2020, after completing a degree in Sport Rehabilitation at the University of Salford. Completing two degrees and having over 2 years post graduate experience in physiotherapy has given me the opportunity to build a wide skill set across different areas of physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation.
I started my career working with athletes in football, rugby and running teams. This involved rehabilitating athletes at Crewe Alexandra and Doncaster Knights, as well as attending marathon events and various tournaments. Since this I have progressed onto working within hospital and community settings. I have rotated around specialist areas including Neurological Physiotherapy, Respiratory physiotherapy, Spinal Injuries, Musculoskeletal outpatients and Hand physiotherapy.
Do you have a neurological condition and the motivation to improve function?
MS, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Guillain-Barré syndrome, FND, Spinal Cord Injury and more..
In my spare time you could find me competing in football and fishing matches or walking the dog. I also enjoy hiking challenges and raising money for charity.
I currently work 6 hours a week at Chapman Physiotherapy. 5pm – 8pm Monday and Wednesday.
I look forward to meeting you and working together to fix your problems!
