Coronavirus – Covid-19
CORONAVIRUS – COVID-19 & Chapman Physiotherapy
We know there is a lot of confusion and misinformation about the Covid-19 Pandemic. We want to keep you up to date with what is happening and how we are keeping you safe and healthy when we see you.
Physiotherapists and Podiatrists are HCPC registered and regulated professionals. We have high standards to maintain in our cleanliness and decontamination process. You should always ensure who you see is HCPC registered for the highest quality and standards.
COVID19 UPDATE 15-06-2020
We opened on Monday 15th June following advice from the Government and regulatory body (HCPC) our professional body, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) & The College of Podiatry.
However, this does not mean that we are returning to normal.
The welfare of our patients is a priority to us and we are ensuring that we have the appropriate measures in place for your safety and ours.
What PPE will the Physiotherapist / Podiatrist be wearing?

EYE PROTECTION

Face mask

Single-use gloves

Single-use apron
New measures in place COVID-19 protocol for patients
When possible, we will ask you to update your medical / consent form digitally from home, if this cannot be done, we will ask you to sign a form on the day.
As we start to see patients for face to face consultations again, there are additional measures put in place for your safety and that of our staff. Whilst this adds a considerable amount of time for our clinicians, there are guidelines from our governing body
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy & HCPC which we have to follow.
