2016 in review…

Dec 13, 2016

It’s been another exceptionally busy year here at Chapman Physiotherapy.  We have been delighted to welcome new staff to the team including Natalie Gould and David McIlwaine who lead the strength and conditioning side with their exceptional knowledge to MSc level on the subject. Natalie and David joined us in June to replace Will Foden who took the opportunity to play rugby in Australia and it’s great to hear that he had a fantastic time over there.

Within the physiotherapy side, Bawtry practice continued to grow and Wendy Boer was appointed to work alongside Siobhan Gatt.  Both highly experienced practitioners with excellent clinical skills in pain management and manual therapy.  Jack Geraghty joined the Doncaster team adding to our evening service and has proved to be a very popular addition!  Finally, Ali Acris joined the admin team in October.

In other news, it was great to be invited to work with Doncaster Triathlon Club.  Having seen a few of their members previously, word had spread and they asked us to be their preferred practice. Attending their awards night, it was fantastic to see how people of all ages and abilities come together to support each other, boosting morale and health at the same time.

In December we were recognised in two award categories at Doncaster Chamber Business awards – runner up in Business Person of the Year 35 and under and runner up in Small Business of the Year. Well done to all who entered, it was a fantastic night and the bubbles were certainly flowing on our table.

As for next year…. Watch this space.  There are a lot of exciting things happening with new services to be added.
